*All decisions about COVID mitigation are made by reviewing the latest guidance from the CDC, the state health and education departments, and our Pandemic Response Team, which includes our school physician, nurse, and parent members who are public health or medical experts.
All mitigation efforts are subject to change as guidelines change and can be tightened or loosened as we navigate through through this process.

Masking
Masks are optional for all students and faculty/staff in all grades and will be optional for any parents and families who come to LCCS for things like classroom events, concerts, games, etc.
Ventilation
We continue to operate fans and air purification systems in classrooms and windows and doors will remain open even in cooler weather. Please dress your student in layers.
COVID Vaccination
Vaccination for COVID is not currently required for students but it is strongly encouraged.
COVID Testing
Our school nurse is certified to administer rapid nasal COVID tests to students and will test students if they display symptoms of COVID. If a student tests positive while in school, they will wait in an isolation room for pickup.
