My name is Erin McGinty and I'm the lead kindergarten teacher in Room 112. Ms. Lorena is our wonderful kindergarten assistant teacher. We are so excited to be working with your child this year! Kindergarten is a year full of exploration, new friendships, lots of learning, and a ton of growth! Each year we're inspired by how quickly our students become independent learners and how each student brings his or her unique learning style to our classroom community.  Please let me know if you have any questions. It is so important to keep communication open between us. We are thrilled to be a part of the LCCS community and look forward to our partnership this school year! LCCS Kindergarten Homework Policy
In kindergarten, students will be asked to read 20 minutes per night for homework. There will be no additional work assigned to the students outside of nightly reading. Please see the parent reading guide, located in the Classroom Documents and Links, to find out why reading for 20 minutes is so important!

Friendly Reminders

Refer to our Classroom Documents and Links section for access to our class schedule, getting to know your teachers, and online resources.

Every Friday, I'll send out a Friday update email with all of our families to share what we did during the week and what we have to look forward to the following week.

Please e-mail us for any questions. This is our preferred mode of communication.
