Welcome to Pre-Kindergarten

My name is Nicole Washington, my favorite color is pink, I love math, music, and french fries!
I have a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from New Jersey City University.
I have an Autistic brother whom I care for and love so much! He is my inspiration and have taught me so much and he still shows me a reason to smile every day of my life.
My motto is" Fun + Love + Learning=The Best Educational Experience!”.

To help assist us through this fun educational journey Ms. Mariela Chiluisa will be the Assistant Teacher who holds an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice and a Child Development Associate Credential from Hudson County Community College. Ms. Mariela's favorite color is red, she loves arts and crafts, listening to music, dancing and loves chocolate. She has a son and one daughter who attends LCCS and is very active in the LCCS Community.

At LCCS, the Pre-kindergarten classes use The Creative Curriculum. This curriculum helps teachers build children’s confidence, creativity and critical thinking skills, and promote positive outcomes.  We engage in various studies throughout the year. Study topics we have used in previous years have been Trees, Clothing, Recycling, Buildings and Balls.
